Our Adventure Begins

Welcome to our little adventure. We will write about our journey, our Land Rover and it’s setup for our future adventures including charity rallys.

After growing up with Land Rovers when was young, I had not had the chance or the dollars to own and enjoy a Landy. We have had a few Mitsibishi Tritons that have served our family well and have taken us away each year on a variety of journeys around Australia, including the Flinders Ranges, Birdsville, Fraser Island, the Darling river run and everywhere in between.

We wanted to have a go at doing a couple of charity rallys and decided that it was a good opportunity to get a Land Rover and do it up for the adventure. We wanted an older one, but one that had a little go. So we decided to look at an early V8 Stage one or 110.

And so the journey begins. Over the past few months Gumtree has been our close friend while looking for a suitable project to purchase.
